Start with the part people actually want to know: where it goes
Your enquiry goes to one installer. Not five, not a bidding panel, not a list that gets resold afterwards. One vetted business covering your part of the Hunter, who rings you to organise a look at the yard. That is the whole disclosure story, and the rest of this page explains the mechanics behind it.
The business that answers for this
This site trades as Newcastle Turf Quotes at newcastlesyntheticturf.pages.dev. Behind it is Kerbside Websites (ABN 78 654 691 111), the entity responsible under the Privacy Act for what happens to personal information collected here, and the entity to complain to if something goes wrong.
What the form asks you for
Your name, a number to call you on, the suburb the job is in, and a sentence or two about what you are after. Nothing else is asked and nothing else is stored from the form. Money never changes hands on this site, so there is no card or bank detail to collect in the first place.
What we deliberately do not ask for
Anything the Privacy Act treats as sensitive information: health details, memberships and the like. None of it has any bearing on a turf quote. Bear in mind that whatever you write in the job description is forwarded to the installer word for word, so that box is best kept to the job.
Why the details are held at all
So that the quote can happen. An enquiry nobody can respond to is of no use to you, so the details exist to get an installer to your gate. They are not folded into an unrelated marketing database, and you are not signed up to anything by sending them, unless you have separately said yes to that.
The suppliers in the chain
Two sit between you and the installer. Web3Forms handles the form submission and delivers it to us by email. Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and, like any web host, keeps ordinary request logs. Beyond those two and the installer, personal information is disclosed only where the law obliges it.
Reading the research pages costs you nothing
Most of this site is soil landscape data, water rules and council positions published suburb by suburb, because nobody else in this market had assembled any of it for a homeowner. None of that requires you to identify yourself. There is no gate, no email wall and no download form. Aggregate analytics tell us which of those pages earn their keep, counting page views and an approximate region derived from an IP address, and that is as personal as it gets.
Cookies, briefly
Minimal, and only for basic site function alongside the analytics just described. Nothing tracks you across other websites and no data is sold to advertising networks.
Security, and how long we hold it
Submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and protected by reasonable technical and organisational measures. No honest operator claims a system is impregnable, and we are not going to. Enquiries are kept while they are live and for a short while afterwards for our own records, then removed.
Seeing it, fixing it, or having it deleted
The Australian Privacy Principles give you the right to ask what is held, to have an error corrected, and to ask for deletion. You do not need to give a reason. Send the request through the quote form, and we will deal with it in a reasonable time and tell you the outcome.

The date at the top is the version marker, and using the site after a change means accepting the current version.
